For your convenience and safety, the types, specifications and the number of pieces of carry-on baggage are restricted as follows:

Cautions
  1. 1. Carry-on baggage or items are allowed only on the condition that passengers should be responsible for taking care of them. Please make sure to store the baggage or items safely during a flight and take them out carefully after landing.
  2. 2. One out of the following articles may be carried in addition to the carry-on baggage.
    • Small suitcases, handbooks, laptops, books and small duty-free goods
    • Baby foods for in-flight use
    • Canes or Crutches for passengers with mobility problems.
    • Asiana Airlines allows service dog to travel with passenger in the aircraft cabin at free of charge.
    • A stroller, which is small and foldable in a straight line, may be carried in the cabin only if storage space is available. If it is not the case, the stroller may be handled as a checked baggage.
  3. 3. An extra seat must be purchased to carry on the following items.

    Large musical instruments for which the sum of their length, width, and depth exceeds 115cm, including cellos, gayageum, geomungo and guitars can be safely transported as carry-on baggage when you purchase an extra seat.

  4. 4. Exceptions

    Carry-on baggage terms may be changed or restricted in different countries according to the policy of the flight or the regulations and procedures of the airport.
